Leaving the snow and cold for sunny Alabama was SUCH a great trade! Elianna especially loved our almost daily trips to the heated pool. I expected her to be tentative and Selah to jump right in (since Selah loves the water and Elianna can take it or leave it) but it was the opposite! Elianna gained confidence every day, always pushing to see what she could try to do. Selah was content to float and observe.

Selah and Becker hit it off right away. Although he has been battling cancer and wasn't feeling so well, he just loved the girls. He was very gentle and protective around them, and Selah was constantly bringing him things. She would say, "See?" and he would dutifully sniff whatever she was showing.
