Poor Selah...

Selah has had a terrible tummy bug for almost a week now. She is never the one to get really sick (usually that's Elianna, although she is currently fighting a cold! Grrrrr), so this has been very difficult. We spent about 5 days up north visiting G-ma and G-pa. They were kind enough to come and get us while Chad was out of town, and we thanked them by having a sick kid and a stressed-out Mommy for most of the trip!!! It was nice to not be alone while dealing with my sick baby, I just feel bad that they went through the trouble of getting us for a visit and that's when the bug strikes... Selah barfed in their van on the way up, and twice in our car on the way home. And several times in between, when she wasn't having diarrhea diaper blow-outs. It has been a constant battle to keep her from getting dehydrated, so please keep us all in your prayers!!!! I'm sure it will make a funny story eventually to add to my collection (especially the part where Selah puked in my face in the middle of the night, and here I am covered in barf, trying to rinse her off in the kitchen sink, and G-ma is trying hard not to laugh at the big glob of barf right between my eyes), but right now my sleep-deprived brain is fried from all vomit and poopy fumes. I'm just hoping it doesn't hit the rest of us this hard, or we will be in trouble. And hopefully she gets better in time for her birthday this weekend!!!!!
